WAterways @ UWA
WAterways comprises three interconnected initiatives emphasising the value of local stakeholder engagement in the effective management of Western Australia's waterways.

The team will work closely with communities to better understand and amplify local waterway regeneration efforts, generate a highly engaging education and outreach program, and convene collaborative activities that bring decision‑makers, practitioners and community together to discuss water management challenges and opportunities for policy innovation.
Through these initiatives, we will seek to foster the development of local networks and raise awareness about actions that can be taken to support waterways regeneration in Western Australia.

In 2026, we commence our pilot Volunteer Project in the Peel-Harvey Catchment region of Western Australia.
